And They're Off!

The traveling team is off to compete in Sedona, Arizona today!

Accenture Matchplay in Arizona

I'm sure most of you golfers have seen or at least heard about the crazy weather that has been happening in Arizona the last couple days! But if you haven't heard AZ got snow yesterday and the Accenture Matchplay tournament, near Tucson, was cancelled. It is kind of interesting to us, that these pros are seeing how it is to be a golfer in Montana. I remember in a high school golf tournament in Missoula, the greens keepers were using snow blowers to clear off the greens and they had to shovel off areas on each tee box, so that we could tee off! Burrr! Plus it took a tee per hole, due to the frozen ground. I wonder if they make the Pro V1 in orange.... Of course we wish them all the best, and if they need warm weather gear, we all have our bags stuffed full.

Preparation - Continued

Hi there BOBCAT golf fans….the team has been working hard inside our facility and getting ready to head south to Sedona, Arizona next week. We are playing Oak Creek Country Club, and looking forward to getting back to green grass. Our practice this week is playing/remembering Oak Creek, we are preparing mentally and hitting the shots we will be hitting on the course. We will play the course at least 5 times before we take of next Thursday. When I say play the course we "play the course" at our indoor facility with our yardage books from Oak Creek. We hit our drives, second shot and then chip and putt. Its a great way to get our minds focused for Oak Creek….thanks for following!! GO CATS

Spring Season Begins!

At 12:29pm today we arrived in Arizona to play our first tournament of the season! It's a beautiful day and we are headed to Chandler, Arizona where we will compete in a tournament hosted by Northern Arizona University at Ocotillo Golf Course.

The traveling team for this trip includes: Molly Dorans, Paige Crawford, Kati Greear, Pamela Calderon-Rojas, and Kelly O'Brien.

Bobcats Give Back!

Last Friday night, we lady golfers volunteered to help out at the Morningstar Elementary School Carnival. It was a fun night! We spent a few hours spread out around the school helping with activities, prizes, and playing with all the kids that came through!

Being a Bobcat means giving back to the Bozeman community that continues to support us year after year. We are so lucky to be surrounded by amazing fans and the support of this wonderful town.
